A Tasty Way to Start Your Day: Get Your Green On!

For those of you new to juicing give this one a try…remember, nothing is set in stone, start with the recipe as is, if that’s feels right for you. But feel free to swap out some ingredients for others. Add additional flavors as well, if so inspired; suggestions are listed below…

Your Daily Dose:
1 head Romaine lettuce
3 stalks kale
2 handfuls spinach
1/2 large cucumber
2 stalks celery
1 lemon, halved (no need to peel before juicing)
1 green apple, quartered

Feed items, one at a time, into head of juicer and enjoy! You may refrigerate remaining juice in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. *All items SHOULD be organic*

Additions: these are just some of them many leaves, roots and fruits that make for a wonderfully tasty and nutrition packed juice. In future posts, I will provide more recipes but this is a good start. And of course, contact me directly if you desire to go further faster!

  • 1″ knob fresh ginger
  • handful of sprouts
  • small handful of mint leaves (leaves, stems and all!)
  • 1/2 c. fresh pineapple
  • 1 lime, halved
  • 1/2 fennel bulb
  • 1/2 Grapefruit, cut to fit in juice feeder
  • raw beet, cut to fit in juice feeder (and the beet leaves!)
  • handful fresh dill
  • 1/2-1 packet organic stevia
  • 1/2 bunch fresh parsley (leaves, stems and all!)
